Bounty Hunters- You are meeting up with a high-power marine, handing in your latest bounty (either dead or alive). Describe your interaction with this person.

It was a rather peaceful day in a peaceful corner of the west blue as there was little of note that occurred on the island on a day to day basis as the villagers had the local Marine base to thank for that. Its very presence was generally enough to keep the bandits, pirates, or thieves at bay and to those that it didn't--they didn't last long. Though this day there was a somewhat strange occurrence that happened for the villagers saw a rather dashing young man peacefully strolling towards the marine base holding a thin length of rope. The strange part of this sight was what was on the other side of this rope--a pirate.

As the dashing man gained entrance to the base with his prize in hand he ignored the strange and dazed looks on the Chore Boy and Marines faces. It was not that they had never seen someone bring in a bounty before as it happened every few weeks or so but rather it was WHO it was that was attached to the rope that seemed like even a child could break with little effort; it was the captain of the Hatch Pirates "Red Fist Hatch"! Tors was a giant of a man who stood tall at least twice the size of his captor though for some reason, with no apparent wounds or real shackles, he simply walked behind the man in front of him as it he were taking a simple stroll around the block.

Several minutes later the base's jailer, the man tasked with bounty exchanges, was struck dumbfounded at the sight of in his office. "Th--tha---THATS HATCH!?" The marine almost couldn't believe his eyes as he saw the pirate in front of him "He's been a wanted man for nearly 8 years in this district--no one not even the navy have been able to take him down-- -- How?"

The young man with blonde hair in front of him seemed pleased with himself, showcasing a prideful smile on his face as he casually took the seat in front of the marine's desk. "Simple--I asked."

"Y--you asked? You asked him what exactly?" The marine slowly asked the bounty hunter seemly both fascinated and frightened by the casualness of the explanation.

The Bounty Hunter leaned forward but instead of immediately answering he grabbed the pack of smokes from the Marine's desk and helped himself to one though the marine was anxiously curious part of him though that he deserved it. "I asked him if he wanted me to turn himself in--so--here we are." The simplicity of the answer could only confuse the poor marine as he almost wanted to call B.S. on the man's story due to the very violent nature of the pirate behind the marine. As the marine began to process the words his gaze fell upon the face of the Hatch, whom the conversation was all about really, and what he saw confused him even more. HE LOOKED HAPPY?! The facial expression on the pirate's face almost seemed like was happy to be here--or maybe happy to be with the bounty hunter??? "14 Million if I remember right."

"14 what?--oh yes the bounty on his head." The marine was almost lost in thought when the bounty hunter told him the price and as he regained his composure he began pulling out bounty posters from his desk and shifting though them until he found the one for Hatch. "14 Million--14 million" The amount though considered rather small by some base's standards was a rather big fish by West Blue's standards. The marine quickly began to fill out a sheet of paperwork and before long he handed the Bounty Hunter the sheet who quickly signed, ripped of his half, and before he knew it the Hunter began to stroll out of the room not even sparring a second glance to his pay day. The look on the pirates face, as he saw his "companion" leaving him, was was of sadness as though someone precious to him was leaving his life someone he couldn't live without. Hatch began to follow the Hunter though was quickly blocked by several other marines who quickly shacked him with something far greater than simple rope. As the silhouette of the hunter left his sights the pirate, a man known for his plundering and brutality, began to weep.

The jailer, now having watched both Hatch be taken away to the cells and the hunter leave to claim his bounty, looked down at the sheet of paper in front of him and saw a rather unfamiliar name signed a the bottom; Jack.
