This is the 4th gym in the Johto League, which obtaining this badge is one of the factors in order to go into the Silver Conference. The Ecruteak Gym will challenge trainers mutch different than the previous gyms you have faced, for here at the Ecruteak Gym one must be able to face thier deepest fears to even step foot into this gym. Even more for those who wish to pass this Gym.

One must prove that they are capable of conquoring thier worst fears, where here Griff can easily see those who are able to step into the dark and those who still hesitate for there are far more frightning things in your future.

[size=4][b]Gym Rules[/b][/size]

Like every other gym, trainers who wish for an official gym match must hereby abide by the Eruteak Gym rules. Those who do not adhere by the gym rules may be subjected to disqualification, with a waiting period of 3 days before you may issue a new gym challenge.

Singles[/center][/b][/td][td]Here in the Ecruteak Gym, trainers will be subjected to a 4-on-4 PKMN battle. Trainers may only battle with one PKMN at a time. Switching out PKMN is allowed and may either save you or put you to a disadvantage.

It is best to think this out methodically and practically. Be resourceful and use the playing field to your advantage.[/td][/tr][tr][td][center][b]Restricted[/b][/center][/td][td]There are no PKMN moves that are considered Restricted in this Gym.
