QUIRKS[ul type="disc"]Daz is considered to be a anomaly among the majority of the marines, having a moral code and mental state more akin to a psychopathic pirate than a justice wielding marine. Possessing little to no moral code and even less care for the ideas of good or evil. With the only thing he seemingly cares about is sating his own highly unstable mind and desires. Despite all of this he is granted a incredible amount of freedom among the marines and science division due to his irreplaceable mind.

All in all Daz is first and foremost a scientist, and as such he thoroughly enjoys figuring out how things work or how his newest concoction will preform in battle. Tending to inject random, unfortunate marines with random serums just to see what happens; most of which experience rather painful and gruesome deaths while Daz is watching them like a mother watching a happy child. Essentially making him personify the stereotype of the mad scientist. Sees everyone and everything not as a living being, but as an object to be researched—including himself.

As what most would expect of the personification of the mad scientist Daz is, mentally speaking, a highly unstable being. Most people seeming him as nothing but some worthless creep as many times he can be found openly stalking people, which tends to horrify the stalked individual as they wonder what the hell he did to them to make him want to study them; usually resulting in the said person being sent to a hospital for various life threatening illnesses.[/ul]

The Koho Koho no Mi is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create, control, and transform into pollution at will, as well as grant immunity to all forms of pollution, making the user a Pollution Human. "Koho" is the onomatopoeia for the sound that one makes when coughing. The fruit's major strength like other Logia types is that it allows the user to produce as well as become the element they control. In this case, the user is able to create, control, and become pollution. Like most other Logia fruits, when the user is hit, he can simply use the fruit's power to become pollution, thus absorbing the attack and remaining unharmed. Like some of the other Logia type Devil Fruits, this one allows the user to "fly", by turning their body or the lower part of it into gas state pollution, greatly enhancing their movement and speed. Unlike most other Logai-types the user of this fruit gains the advantages of gas, liquid, and solid state Logai-types as pollution itself comes in any state.

STRENGTHS | The greatest strength presented by Daz's fruit is the sheer versatility of what is is able to produce as well as the simple fact that everything he produces is a powerful toxin; able to inflict a wide range of physical and mental ailments to unfortunate opponents. Able to create everything from engine exhaust to nuclear waste and everything in between. Most of which the simple act of breathing in or touching the pollution is enough to cause some ailments; many range from causing dizziness, nausea, severe migraines to respiratory difficulties, and asphyxiation; all of which cover the most basic of gas form pollutants. Liquid forms being much more potent and deadly to the point of being highly corrosive. Solid states allow the user to create physical weapons as well as unstable and explosive components.

WEAKNESSES | The main, and most obvious weakness of the Koho Koho no Mi is the simple fact that does not possess the ability to distinguish between friend and foe, making it just as deadly for allies as it is opponents. Another weakness is that while Daz is immune to pollution consuming the fruit itself gives the user a horrible, unrelenting cough; powerful enough to make people cringe around him while he hacks out a lung. It also seems that the user constantly gives off a smell and aura of engine exhaust with a mixture of Carbon Dioxide and Monoxide, meaning that he constantly produces gas pollutants. Other than that, the user is also affected by the standard Devil Fruit weakness.
