These are the Special Characteristics centered around the many aspects of a ninja's chakra. This is the most versatile category of special characteristics because each ninja's chakra is different, thus different skills are produced from them. Chakra based special characteristics are focused on transcending ones unique chakra abilities or type to a more powerful level, allowing them to execute more powerful techniques and much more. Nearly all of them require a ninja to specialize in the art of ninjutsu, for those who do typically have more advanced types of chakra such as elemental affinities and manipulation. Some characteristics that fall under this category include increasing the power of specific element, Sensory, Chakra Flow, and even allowing yourself to train an additional element and access a second kekkei genkai for more powerful ninja. The training regimen for chakra based special characteristics vary depending on what you're trying to train, but most of which require deep meditation, training in a specific element or area, or whatever methods you can create.

If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall.

Signature Traits: Members of the Hōshi clan normally seem to posses white hair, and are generally considered to be very carefree and easy going.
Kekkei Genkai: The Hōshi clan are capable of creating, controlling, and emitting microscopic spores from their body for various purposes and reasons. These spores are capable of infecting other living things by landing on them or being breathed in and can grow at alarming rates by absorbing their chakra wile restricting the targets' movements, meaning that they absorb more and more chakra as they grow larger. In essence it is Rapid Growth when introduced to a chakra sorce. Generally these spores grow into white copies of the user. Example.
The spores created by the Hōshi do not contain chakra, rendering them virtually undetectable by standard shinobi sensory techniques. Along with their size being invisible to the naked eye the Hōshi are easily able to plant spores in their opponents' unsuspecting bodies. The spores created by the Hōshi have various other purposes as well as the Hōshi is always connected to the spores they make, a mental connection that allow the user to feel where any of their spores are as well knowing anything they see or do.
History: The Hōshi are a clan that tend to keep to themselves, or at least they try not to bring attention to themselves leaving them to be a relative mystery to anyone outside of the clan. The clan itself has been in Kusagakure since its foundation all those years ago, and was there long before it was founded. Saying that they will be there long after it falls, for the Hōshi overall are a very patient clan for many of them learned that taking their time to deal with their enemies leads to better results rather than rushing in.
The Hōshi do not know exactly when the first members of their family began showing singes of creating strange white masses where ever they walked, but they do know that it was not something expected or they tried to do. Rather it was merely something that appeared one day and they have been perfecting it ever since. During the old days when the ninja world was young and wars ravaged the country side the Hōshi were a clan that used their abilities to keep the wars away from their homeland, for the Hōshi always felt a connection between themselves and the nature around them knowing that if they allowed the war to come to their home they would destroy it and everything they sought to protect.
Even so they could not keep everything out and the Hōshi needed to learn to weaponize their abilities for combat, which over time they slowly learned that the spores they created with their body had the abilities of rapid growth when introduced to a chakra source, then using this knowledge they learned more and more ways to defend their homeland without bringing attention to themselves. As troops attempted to pass though their villages they slowly found themselves being infected with a strange ailment, but before they could do anything about it they would find themselves not even able to go for help. But as time went on their enemies slowly learned ways to counter their abilities, so the Hōshi learned new ways of using them, and the cycle continued until Kusagakure was founded.
As time went on the Hōshi stayed with their roots and began keeping to themselves, though a few in every generation left the safety of the clan to become ninjas in Kusagakure in order to help protect the village or to prove that the Hōshi were not weak gardeners.

Description: Houshi no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by members of the Hōshi Clan. After dispersing their spores in the air, the Hōshi can create clones which feed off the chakra of the hosts to grow. These spore clones will start growing on a time release schedule set by the Hōshi. When the clones have finished gathering enough chakra, they can leave the host and transfer the stolen chakra to another ninja they touch. A ninja of sufficient skill can remove the spore clones before they fully remove their chakra.
