Former Imperial Lieutenant - Fought in the War - Deserter
Childhood he was a thief and pickpocket, talker, got caught by an Imperial Legion Captain and was taken given a choice to loose a hand or join the Legion. He choose the latter. Said captain became a father figure to him.

Fought in the War, Father figure died and Gren lost all motivation to fight in the war instead he went back to his old ways. He became a  man who "can get things"  a smuggler and thief, whatever he needed to do to get money and escape the Legion as once you join... you can never leave alive.

He got a job to steal a set of schematics, top secret schematics, from a unknown buyer who was paying an sum he couldn't refuse even if he wanted to. He hired a few members of the thief's guild and spent months on the heist planning. But something in the planning went wrong, he was nearly caught himself, the thief's fled and Gren went on the run. Hearing of the civil war in Skyrim he fled north hoping to disappear in the chaos. He was chased by his Father figures daughter, a now Legion Captain and was chased into an Imperial Ambush on the border.

Motivations: Money, Escaping the Legion (Especially General Tulious whom he used to serve under). Hates High Elves, likes Dunmer (Had a fling with a Dunmer Refugee)

He wants to learn Smithing & Enchanting to become a Artificer (use the schematics he learned)
Father taught him some Alteration and Restoration as to let him better survive the war.
Wants to figure out Alteration as he knows there are abilities that allow one to store objects in alternate space (better smuggler).
