Chakra Strings based, no puppets
If chakra threads are attached to weapons, such as kunai, this not only allows users to throw multiple weapons at a time, but also allows them an easy method of connecting their threads to distant targets.[14] Puppeteers can attach chakra threads to faraway targets even without this subterfuge, giving them a quick way to bring objects to their side.

"I had strings, but now I'm free. There are no strings on me..."

Marionet Technique | A regional variation of the Chakra Strings technique utilized by a 'marionette' where like its predecessor it can be used to create thread like strings made of chakra but unlike the former the latter can be detached from the source. Once detached it can automatically shorten or lengthen depending on the users mental stimuli or via environmental inputs which often or not means it will or can be used for traps. However unlike its counterpart it cannot be used to transfer chakra as they are not attached to the source therefore they can only perform pre-determined things.

The Marionet Technique is the core skill of a Marionettist's fighting style, whereby they control a Marionet. Before the advent of the modern version of the Puppet Technique there were several offshoot with the Marionet Technique being one that found its way into Amegakure. Where the user of the Puppet Technique has to have their threads attached for constant control and input the Marionet Technique can continue to operate even after it is detached from the user however this process gives up the fine control of the user that a Puppeteer enjoys. What the user of the Marionet Technique can do is even at a distance they can mentally command at will for the Thread to lengthen or shorten itself i.e. if it is attached between 2 points it can tighten or loosen at will. This process can also be triggered by environmental factors. Also the Threads can gain an elastic property.

The most notable usage of the Marionet Technique is not just the creation of its Chakra Threads but rather when they intertwine these threads into their own version of puppets. A Marionette's puppet, unlike a Puppeteers, does not require constant input from the user as the threads can act as makeshift muscles in its body and therefore move and react to the environment on its own based on 2 factors; pre-programed reactions and environmental inputs. What this essentially means is that the User has to tell the puppet how to act and react prior to the event occurring, usually before battle, which while this means that a Marionet can act independently of the user it also means that its actions are... simple. This is due to the simple fact that all of its actions and reactions are limited to the ingenuity of the user and more importantly their ability to predict actions of opponents. Due to this factor the Marionet Technique fell out of favor and overall loss against the more practical Puppet Technique with the Marionet Technique only being utilized by very few families in Amegakure.

A less experienced users Marionette can be considered rather slow and robotic in its motions, often or not requiring days or weeks of programming just to perform the most basic of movements. As the user becomes more experienced they require less time to program and a Marionette's movements become more and more responsive and lifelike. To a Marionettist the pinnacle of a Marionet is having one who is indistinguishable from a human. In order to 'Update' or 'Upgrade' the responses of a Marionet one must attach Chakra threads and input them directly.

As the Marionet is detached from the user the amount of chakra it has in its system is finite and therefore can only operate on its own for a limited time. The method of recharge being either direct contact with a chakra source, ex the user themselves, or being connected via a chakra thread. This also means that if the Marionet were to perform more chakra consuming actions, i.e. a technique, it would rapidly consume its reserves and 'turn off' much quicker.

He has a fierce competitive drive that pushes him forward through most trials and losses in his life and at the same time it has brought him much success. Despite his arrogance he doesn't really care if he wins or loses for even if he wont say it he knows that a loss is just another way to show him how he can improve... at least he'll say this after the fact. But the idea of an loss showing him how to win next time is a prime trait of his psyche.

This type of overall attitude is well apparent in his fighting style - where it comes off as highly aggressive and unrelenting. Determined and thirsty for victory, Giji smiles eerily when in the middle of a battle. He does not fight straight up or fair nor is 'honorable' combat as if he can use it he will, if he sees a way to win he'll use it. He'll kick you when you're down for Winning is winning. Many people forget that despite his looks as a Swordsman he is first and foremost a Marionettist.

He tends to be a bit of a prankster... or as many of his former childhood victims would put it a bully. He likes to mess with people with various methods both physically and vocally the latter of which can often or not be heard from him being spouted at people while he's fighting. He says what is on his mind and there is little that can be done to stop him, even if its harsh or hurts their feelings he'll say it anyways. If he thinks that your weak he'll say it. But that being said his own harshest critic is himself as after he loses, despite accepting it in the end, he still despises himself more than his opponent.

He despises dressing up, talking all 'prissy' aka fancy formal talk, school, books, reading and he enjoys things such as spicy foods, people watching, fighting, and... romance shows.

Just so you know, if.. when he wins he'll make sure you know and never forget it.

The Mark cannot be scrubbed off and will naturally flake off over the course of a few days unless the user themselves removes' it.
