Nara Shidai
Son of the Iron Butcher | Hiroto (ヒロト)

Nara Clan member, lost as a small child and found by the Iron Country Terrorist.
- Raised for several years by him.
- Eventually was 'abandoned' (not really) in the iron Country main city's shogunate.

IDEA!!!
- Assassin that uses the Shadow intimidation technique to force a target to kill themselves.



Parents were ambassadors to the Land of Iron
- Were assassinated by Hiroto
- Parents were not the target but rather the prey was the man they were meeting in secret with, who was trading Iron secrets to Konoha.
- Hiroto took pity on young Shidai and abducted him, calling him a 'Son of the Iron Butcher'.
- Hiroto was one of the most wanted men in Iron Country and in the Shinobi Bingo books. Wanted for countless crimes ranging from Terrorism, assassinations, and Suicide Bombings.
- He attempted to gain control of the country in the past and failed, he despised Shinobi Influence in Iron Country saw it as weakness.

Shidai attempted to kill Hiroto many times but always failed.
- He had attempted numerous times to use his Families famed 'Shadow Intimidation Jutsu', ambushing him, but always failed finding that things such as hand signs were too... slow.
- Hiroto slowly taught Shidai the way of the Samurai, the abomination that was Jutsu.
- Over the years Shidai learned to suppress his hatred of Hiroto and became one of his disciples as to learn from one of the masters of the sword and eventually kill him with his own skill.
- Unconsciously became influenced by Hiroto's ideals.
- Shidai participated on numerous raids and assassinations. Became a wanted man in Iron Country.
- Was taught how to hide his presence and silence his steps.

Hiroto's base was assaulted by a joint team of Samurai and Konoha Ninja's.
- Shidai saw his opportunity and attempted once again, for the first time in 5 years, to kill Hiroto but lost, severely injured, and Hiroto escaped with his other Lieutenants.
- Shidai attempted to use one of Hiroto's suicide tag vests on him but instead of it going off and taking them both out Hiroto defused it and saved Shidai's life. Saying that he couldn't let one of his children die in such a dishonorable fashion.
- Konoha ninja 'rescued' him after 6 years of 'captivity' He was 12 at this point.
- Was not trusted by most higher ups in Konoha, as such he was placed under surveillance. Only reason why they allowed one of the Butchers lackeys in was because Shidai attempted to kill Hiroto... or as some thought hold him off until Konoha ANBU and Iron Shinobi could arrive.
- A Village Elder saw a use for his hatred of Hiroto and placed him in an ANBU faction under his influence.
- ANBU for 7 years.

- Shadow Puppet: User infects the target individual's shadow with a portion of their own severed shadow, causing the target to mimic the shadows movement of which the user can command. Effectively making the target a puppet.
- 2nd Shadow - Splits the users shadow, 2nd shadow can move on its own.

Shadow Switch - User can switch locations with a target they currently have under the shadow intimidation technique.

Shadow... clone? - User creates a Bushin made of their own shadow, when a target makes contact they are automatically placed under a Shadow intimidation effect for 2 posts but since the users shadow isn't inherently connected to it the target will just be paralyzed.

Shadow Severing - Cut the shadow to damage the origional

Lesser Shadow Intimidation Technique - User can initiate the effect but cannot animate their shadow themselves.

[E-RANK] Stamp! Is a rather childish technique that Shidai created when he was only 6 years old. It lets him use Yin chakra to make a stamp of whatever he is thinking of onto whatever he touches making it great for pranks as he doesn't need a marker to draw a moustache or words on peoples faces. In his adulthood however he still utilizes the technique as it allows him to instantly imprint seals on targets which can summon objects to them... specifically Exploding Tags!

General | Overall Shidai is rather a solitary and matter-of-fact person, often or not speaking bluntly about sensitive topics as though they are of little concern of his; especially if its about gossip. If he is not on a mission or training, he can often or not be found Meditating as is a far more spiritual man than he lets on. It is this that allows him to process and focus in the rest of his time to the point of having a reputation for his cold-bloodedness. Meditation also allows him to remain... grounded and focus on tempering his anger and arrogance. It is only when the topic of Hiroto comes up in his mind that he tends to become... overly focused to the point of obsession.

Military Mind | Even as a child before he was kidnapped, Shidai was very independent and self-confident, even appearing at times to be arrogant and condescending; all this despite his rather average skill. It was this mindset that impressed Hiroto. After his training under Hiroto Shidai learned to temper his arrogance and see every situation as for what it was; both won and lost. He was taught to think on his feet and not to over analyze the situation like the rest of his paternal family would.

2nd Hand Shinobi | Never truly been trained as one in his youth, nor trained as one in his adolescence, Shidai doesn't really see himself as a Shinobi; despite technically being one nowadays. Even if he uses some of their styles, weaves their hand signs, or utilizes their techniques he perceives them more as convenient tools of the trade rather than a indication of an identity. At the same time however he does not consider himself as a Samurai despite being raised as one, being raised in both the way of the sword and the teachings of Bushido, as he saw their methods as nothing more than a way to claim his prize. Neither truly Samurai or Shinobi, he threads the lines between the two carefully.

The Iron Price | Residents of Iron Country do not see Shidai as a Samurai either, even if he knows all of their teachings and utilizes a Katana as they do, as they see him as nothing more than the adopted son of a Terrorist. The more Conservative factions of Samurai see him as an insult to their ways and beliefs and in a way see him as being more detestable than his terrorist adopted Father. As such the price on his head and label of Rōnin is still alive and well today as it was on the day he returned to Konoha 7 years prior.

Son of the Butcher | Being the son of the Butcher, the Terrorist of Iron Country Hiroto, it could be said that Shidai's allegiances are... tenuous at best as personally speaking Shidai only sees his allegiance to Konoha as one of convenience to obtain what he really wants; Hiroto's head. Even the higher ups within Konoha itself seeing his presence more of a eyesore than anything as to them he is only allowed to be there in order to gain intel and hold 'leverage' over Hiroto. The relationship between Shidai and Konoha is one more of convenience than kindness.

Mission at Hand | Despite his... questionable loyalties there is one thing that can be said about Shidai is his ability to complete a task, even if it means getting his hands dirty. Despite the blood on his hands it is of little concern to Shidai as it is all just a side trip while he searches for a whisper of Hiroto. He is focused and driven, and takes a great deal of pride on his ability to complete a task.

Having being raised by an Iron Country master Shidai can be considered an expert in its use including the fields of Iaidō, Kenjutsu, Bukijutsu, and Taijtusu. Unlike most Samurai however Shidai was taught how to be an assassin to fight both Ninja and Samurai. Utilizing a silent presence, lightning reflexes, to move and attack unseen. He was taught in a style that allows him to be constantly aware of his surroundings and adapt appropriately. As a full fledged Samurai he is able to use the '[i]Samurai Sabre Technique[/i]' to its full extent and in terms of Kenjutsu styles itself is primarily adept in Iaidō — a style of swordsmanship which involves the user rapidly unsheathing his blade to slash the enemies which allows him to slice opponents before they can weave slow hand signs. As well as various methods and forms to quickly close the gap between himself and the target.

As a member of the famed Nara clan Shidai is fairly adept in the usage of the clan's Shadow techniques, and while they are not his primary focus, he is able to utilize them to support and enhance both his Kenjutsu and allies. Unlike others of his clan who fear close range encounters he focuses on them therefore has developed his own style of Shadow techniques to match including weaveless, short range versions.
